The Ugandan team is led by Mr. Lubega Emmanuel as the Program Manager. Mr. Lubega hails from Kyebe Sub County, Kakuuto County of Rakai district; and is among the few people to get university education from Kyebe Sub County.
After finishing high School with a remarkable performance from Holly Family Secondary School, Lubega was fortunate to receive a scholarship from Christ Presbyterian Church-USA through World Vision Uganda. The scholarship enabled him to attend Daystar University –Nairobi, Kenya where he graduated with a BA in Community Development.
After graduation, he left Kenya and went back to Rakai-Uganda to be an agent of change in his home district through participatory development projects with the people of Rakai district. He was employed in November 2008 with Kakuuto Community Development Program (KACODEP) as a Project coordinator a position I have held to date.
Mr. Mr. Lubega Emmanuel has also served in the Uganda Electoral Commission as the Kakuuto County supervisor. There he supervised and oversaw the recently concluded general election in Kyotera town council. He has also supervised the National Security and Information system and National ID project in Kyotera town council.
